Courtyard

Screen block court

Sculpted concrete, filtered light, and a garden held in quiet geometry. An original courtyard study inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright’s textile blocks.

Inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright’s textile-block work, this original study explores a wall with depth: geometric relief beside open modules, solid surfaces beside spaces that admit light and frame the garden. The pattern belongs to the block itself, with each face and opening contributing to the whole. It is an exploration of that design approach, with an original pattern developed for this courtyard.

A timber bench, leafy planting, and reflecting water give the patterned wall a place in everyday life. The solid blocks offer enclosure; the openings invite glimpses of trees and cast changing shadows across the paving. We welcome custom patterns and collaborations, using sketches, digital models, and prototypes to explore the relationship between texture, privacy, and what we leave open.
